Tips & Warnings
If you want to make a CD that is playable in any CD player, you can convert the MP3s to WAV files and burn them to a new CD. Note that this is only possible if your computer has a CD burner.
Once you have copied your MP3 files from a CD to your computer, you can easily copy them from your computer to your MP3 player. Simply follow the same procedure as above, only copying from your computer to your MP3 player that you have plugged in with a USB cable. ITunes makes this process even easier, as you can copy MP3s to different devices from within the program by following its prompts.
This method should only be used for MP3s that you have legally purchased. Do not use this method for illegal downloads.
Although MP3s do not take up a lot of space, you may want to check your hard drive to make sure you have enough room for your MP3s before you begin copying them. Do not begin copying them if you only have a minimal amount of space left, or your computer may slow down significantly or even have problems with programs crashing because of stress.
