How to Add Your Picture to PokerStars

Since then, online poker sites have seen a steady increase in traffic and many offer customized tools, ensuring their player's gaming experience has a more personal touch. PokerStars.com is a real money gambling site catering to both U.S. and international poker players. Any member may add a personal picture, known as an avatar, to their profile. This image will be displayed along with the player's screen name at all the site's table games.

Create a PokerStars.com account, if you have not done so already. It is important that you create a PokerStars.com account and not a PokerStars.net account, as the latter will not allow you to upload an image. Though owned by the same company, PokerStars.net is a play money poker site and does not grant members full benefits, such as avatars.

Select an image upon sign-up or add one after becoming a member. In either case, you will need to log in to PokerStars.com and click the header on the dashboard menu entitled "Account." This will be the third title from the left.

Scroll down to the header "Select/Change Image" once the Account menu drops down, and click. A new window will appear with an empty circle.

Click the "Change Image" button and you will be allowed to upload an image from your computer's hard drive to the window. A sizing tool will appear. Click and drag the rectangular selection tool over the area of the image you'd like displayed.

If you are satisfied with your image, click "Save." You should now see your chosen image within the window's avatar circle. Though you can view your uploaded image within this window, your avatar may take up to 48 hours or more to be approved by a PokerStars.com network administrator. Your picture will only appear at the virtual tables after receiving such approval.

Tips & Warnings
You may upload an image to a PokerStars.com account only twice. Any second upload will be the final upload allowed, even if it's just the same image as before but cropped differently.
Images deemed offensive or salacious by the site's support staff are not allowed on PokerStars.com and will not be approved.
Internet gambling is not legal everywhere. Check your local legislature before playing for real money on an online poker site.
