How to Set the Temperature on a Ricoma Heat Press

The Ricoma company specializes in the production of screen printers and heat presses that enable the transfer of paint and appliques onto fabric. The heat press is a device consisting of two flat metal panels that are pressed together. The temperature on the heat press can be set as high as 599 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the type of fabric being used. The temperature of the heat press is displayed on an easy-to-read, digital display panel. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

      Place the Ricoma heat press onto a flat surface and plug it into an electrical outlet.

      Open the metal plates of the heat press so that they are not touching each other. The plates will heat up faster if they are not touching.

      Turn the red power switch, located on top of the machine, to the "On" position.

    • 4

      Locate the digital device settings on the left side of the machine.

    • 5

      Press the up and down arrows on the digital display to adjust the temperature to the desired setting.

Tips & Warnings

  • The temperature arrows can be adjusted during operation of the machine as well as during the preheating phase.
