How Do I Change My Cell Number on Facebook?

Facebook is a great social networking tool, and it is available to all because it is free. New users may experience problems around Facebook, however, and you should spend some time browsing around to get a feel for its interface. Changing your settings is quite easy, and it can be done quickly with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Instructions

Changing your Facebook Number

1. Sign in to your Facebook account by entering your email address and password into their respective boxes on the Facebook homepage.

2. In the "News Feed" section of Facebook, click on the "Settings" tab near the right hand corner of the page. You will see a few tabs pop up.

3. Click on the "Basic info" tab. This will show the information you've listed, including your full name, email address, etc.

4. Click on the tab that says "Cell phone." There may or may not be a cell phone number there, depending on whether you had a previous number listed there.

5. Enter in your new number, and save it to your profile by clicking the "Save settings" tab. It will now display on your profile.

Tips & Warnings

• If you have a landline number that you would like to update, there is a "Landline" tab for that.

• Be careful not to change any of your other settings, as this will affect them as well.
