How to Load a Motorcycle Using a Utility Tilt Trailer

To load your motorcycle onto a utility tilt trailer, you must first connect the trailer to the towing vehicle and lock them together. If you try to load the motorcycle first, you run the risk of losing your balance and dropping the motorcycle, causing damage to the motorcycle and the trailer. A utility tilt trailer has only one axle in the center of the frame, causing the trailer to tilt back and forth.

Press down on the trailer arm until the arm locks into place on the trailer hitch ball. A snapping sound will signify that the arm is locked in place. Use the pad lock to lock the trailer in place.

Push the motorcycle onto the trailer and lift the rear tire onto it. Use ratchet straps to secure the motorcycle to the trailer.
