How Do I View All of My Fonts?
As you collect different fonts on your computer, these fonts are installed into your fonts folder. Font files are commonly either TrueType fonts (TTF) or OpenType fonts (OTF). Each font file will create a different font on your computer when you select it within a word processing or graphics program. If you open the fonts folder within your computer's Control Panel, you can easily view all of the fonts installed on your computer.

OTF files are the most recent font format (a format jointly developed by Microsoft and Adobe). The TTF format was developed and released almost 20 years ago. Both font formats are commonly used.
