Your mobile service provider usually sets the email signature on your BlackBerry Pearl to its default, but you can personalize it by logging into your BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) site and changing it.

Instructions

1. Log into your BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) site. This can vary based on your mobile service provider.

2. Click the link that takes you to the BlackBerry Internet email for your service account.

3. Click "Edit" next to the email account you are changing the email signature for.

4. Delete the default email signature. Replace with your personalized email signature. Click "Save" when you are satisfied with the results.

• An effective email signature will leave the reader with an important piece of information about you. If this is a work related email account, consider using contact information or a website URL as the email signature. A personal email account might have a personal motto as the email signature.
