How to Crochet Toilet Tissue Toppers
Crocheting can be used to make a variety of cozies, to cover anything from mp3 players to teapots. If you want to crochet toilet tissue cozies, simply crochet a circle and then add height with even rounds. Crochet your toilet tissue toppers in stripes to match your bathroom decor colors, or add a festive decoration to it to turn it into a whimsical accessory.

1
Make two crocheted chain stitches and make five single crochet stitches into the second chain from the hook. Join with a slip stitch to form a circle, then chain one. For the second round, make two single crochet stitches in every stitch around, and join again. For round three, make one single crochet stitch in the first stitch, then two stitches in the next; repeat this pattern around and join with a slip stitch. Continue to increase your circle by adding five stitches every round until the circumference measures approximately one or two centimeters larger than the circumference of your toilet tissue roll.

Build the height of your toilet tissue topper. To do this, single crochet one stitch per every stitch on the next round; single crochet in the back loops only to sharpen the angle of the edge between the top and sides of your topper. For all subsequent rounds, make one single crochet stitch in every stitch around. Continue until the height you need has been reached.

Finish your topper; cut off your working yarn and make a slip stitch to secure it, then weave in the loose ends with a large eye blunt needle. Embellish your toilet paper topper by adding buttons, embroidery, or any other add-ins you choose.
