How to Add a Zoom Tool to the Microsoft Internet Explorer Toolbar

Internet Explorer is the Web browser provided for Windows users by Microsoft. It offers users a variety of customization features, including a built-in command toolbar that you can customize with your most frequently used commands. One of the most frequently used commands is the zoom tool. Yet, the zoom tool is not on your command bar by default, so you have to add a zoom tool to the Microsoft Internet Explorer toolbar yourself.

Instructions

1. Open your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, and then right-click on the Microsoft Internet Explorer toolbar.

2. Scroll to “Customize,” and then select “Add or Remove Commands.”

3. Select “Zoom” from the available toolbar buttons, and click “Add” to add the zoom tool to the Microsoft Internet Explorer toolbar.

Tips & Warnings

• Remove a command from the Microsoft Internet Explorer toolbar by selecting a “Current toolbar button” and click “Remove” to remove it from the toolbar.

• Beware of accidentally adding too many zoom tools to the Microsoft Internet Explorer toolbar; only click the “Add” button once.
