1. Find an online business card printing service that specifically offers transparent or translucent plastic cards. Examples include CustomPlasticPrinters.com and AllTimePrint.com. If possible, choose a service that offers a convenient online template wizard.

2. Select the type of transparent card that you want to create—completely clear or frosted.

3. Choose the number of colors that you want to appear on your card (one, two, three, or full color).

4. Pick the text colors for your card. Since the card is clear, just about any color including white will show up against the background. Avoid light gray or canary yellow, as these can still be difficult to read on clear plastic.

5. Select the thickness for your clear plastic card (the options vary depending on the service).
