How to Use eBook Software

Electronic Books, or eBooks, are text files from actual print books that you can read on devices such as the Amazon Kindle or the Barnes and Noble Nook. However, you may find you want to read other documents on your eBook readers, documents such as school projects or other content you created yourself. For this there are several different eBook program titles available for you to use to convert the title to eBook format.

Instructions

1. Launch the eBook software you have installed on your computer. You can purchase this kind of software from most computer stores and online.

2. Select "File," "Open," and choose the file you want to convert to eBook format. For some smaller programs, you just click the "Browse" button in the middle of the screen and chose the file.

3. Title the document. You can keep the file name as is, or you can adjust it to something else. The "Filename" option appears typically toward the bottom of the screen.

4. Select the kind of file you uploaded. The eBook software needs to know this to convert it properly.

5. Click the "Convert" button, and the eBook software will convert the content. You can now upload the file onto your eBook reader.
