How to Use the LG Envy 2

LG EnV 2 phones have many of the features that are now common on cell phones. In addition to the calling and messaging functions, the LG EnV 2 has a built-in digital camera for taking and storing pictures. Learn the proper instructions to make phone calls, send text messages and take pictures with your LG EnV 2.

Instructions

Calls

1. Enter the number you want to call by pressing the number buttons on the phone keypad. If you make mistakes while dialing, press the "CLR" button to delete the last number entered. Dial the call by pressing the "Send" button.

2. Call a number stored to the phone's memory by pressing the right soft key under the word "Contacts." The soft buttons are the unmarked buttons located under the LCD screen that function according to the word over the button. Highlight the contact you want to call with the up and down arrow buttons and press the "Send" button to make the call.

3. Answer an incoming call by pressing the "Send" button.

4. Place the first call on hold when a second call comes in by pressing the "Send" button when you hear a tone in the headset. Switch between the calls by pressing the "Send" button.

5. End calls by pressing the "PWR/End" button.

Text Messaging

1. Open the phone and press the "OK" button to bring up the main menu.

2. Select "Messaging," "New Message" and "TXT Message."

3. Input the number of the person who will receive the text message. If the number is already stored as a contact, press the right soft key under the word "Add" and choose "From Contacts."

4. Press the "OK" button and enter the message you want to send with the phone's keypad.

5. Send the message by pressing the "OK" button.

6. Read messages received on on the LG EnV 2 by opening the phone and pressing the left soft key under the word "Message."

Digital Camera

1. Open the LG EnV 2 and press the "OK" button.

2. Select "Media Center" from the main menu and choose "Picture & Video" and then "Take Picture."

3. Adjust the brightness by pressing the up and down navigation buttons and operate the zoom with the right and left navigation buttons.

4. Point the back of the camera at the subject of the photograph and press the "OK" button. The picture will appear on the screen.

5. Save the picture to your camera by pressing the left soft key under the word "Save." If you are unhappy with the picture, you can delete it by pressing the right soft key under the word "Erase."
