Things You'll Need

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Crushed ice
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 4 strawberries, mashed
  • 1/2 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 3 oz. dry gin
  • 1 tbsp. heavy cream
  • Collins or highball glass
  • Soda water
  • Lemon peel, for garnish

      Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice.

      Add the lemon juice, mashed strawberries, powdered sugar, dry gin and heavy cream to the cocktail shaker.

      Cover the cocktail shaker, and shake gently for 10 to 15 seconds.

      Strain the contents of the cocktail glass into a Collins or highball glass filled halfway with crushed ice.

      Fill the glass with soda water, and garnish the drink with a twisted lemon peel. Serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings

  • For a sweeter cocktail, add half an ounce of grenadine syrup.

  • For a fruity, sweet-tasting cocktail, add one tablespoon of Rose's sweetened lime juice to the cocktail shaker before shaking.
