Launch the Norton Ghost program and look for the “Tasks” pane. Within this pane, click on the “Recover My Computer” option. A “Recover My Computer” window will open.

Click on the most-recently created image and then click on the “Recover Now” button. Click the “OK” button in the “Summary” window that will appear.

Click “Yes” when the computer asks for your confirmation to proceed with the recovery. Also, click the “Yes” button when the computer asks you to restart your computer.

Insert the recovery disk that you created with Norton Ghost when the program prompts you to, and then click “OK.”

Select the backup file that was most-recently created and click “Open.” The recovery process will now begin. You have restored your computer using Norton Ghost after a crash.
