Things You'll Need
- Cocktail shaker
- Crushed ice
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ tbsp. powdered sugar
- Egg white
- 4 oz. sloe gin
- 2 dashes grenadine syrup
- Collins or highball glass
- Soda water, to fill
- Lemon peel, for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice.

Add the lemon juice, powdered sugar, egg white, sloe gin and grenadine syrup to the cocktail shaker.

Cover the cocktail shaker and shake gently for 10 to 15 seconds.

Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into a Collins or highball glass filled halfway with crushed ice.

Fill the glass with soda water and garnish the drink with a lemon peel. Serve right away.

Tips & Warnings
You can substitute Rose's sweetened lime juice for the grenadine syrup in this recipe if you prefer.
If you do not have sloe gin, you can use regular gin, though the drink will be stronger.
