A master cellular agent is authorized sell cell phones from the larger wireless providers. In addition to selling cellular phones you will also be able to sell phone plans, and features as well. You get a commission for each phone you sell and each customer who starts a wireless plan.

Determine which cell phone company you would like to work for. Research your current cell phone provider, if you have one. You chose that cell phone provider for a reason and you are already familiar with their plans, phones and services. Visit the cell phone provider's website to get up-to-date information on the products and services. Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are among the largest cell phone providers in the United States.

Consider working with a company that provides services from multiple cellular providers. For example Go mobile can allow you to provide cellular service and phones for Metro PCS, Boost Mobile, T-Mobile and AT&T. This allows you to target more customers and increase your income (See Resource).

Determine how much money you need each month to survive. Each cellular provider has a different commission and payment structure, and knowing this ahead of time helps you choose which cellular company offers the more attractive package.

Contact the cellular provider you have chosen to work with to determine the requirements for becoming a cellular agent. Search the provider’s website to find contact information for job opportunities. For example, T-Mobile has its information in a link at the bottom of its website.

Expect to share your business background and expertise when interviewing to be a master cellular agent. Cellular phone providers want to know that you are organized, and preferably have a strong sales background. Include any training whether it is cellular related or not ito be accepted.

Receive training once you are accepted as a cellular agent. You may be required to be a cellular agent for a short time to learn the business. After training, your cell phone provider will allow you to be a master cellular agent. Training may be provided online or at a physical location depending on where you live.
