How to Configure iPhone for Outlook Anywhere

Outlook Anywhere is a feature of Microsoft Exchange that enables users to send and receive email from their Outlook accounts without being connected to the corporate network, according to Microsoft TechNet. The Apple iPhone enables Microsoft Exchange to be set up through the account settings, which syncs your mobile device with the server through push notification.

Instructions

1. Press the "Home" button and slide your finger across the screen to unlock the phone.

2. Tap the "Settings" icon on your phone's screen, and tap the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab.

3. Tap the "Add Account" tab, and tap "Microsoft Exchange."

4. Enter your username and password, and tap the "Next" button in the upper-right corner.

5. Type in your server name, and tap "Save." Tap "Accept" on the dialog box if the message appears, and slide your finger across the "Mail," "Contacts" and "Calendar" switches so that they show "On." Tap the "Save" button to complete the setup.
