How to Get an Adobe Flash Movie From a Web Site
Flash movies are everywhere on the Internet these days. People are using them to introduce themselves or their websites to a target audience. These movie files are embedded in Adobe Flash and are downloadable. All you have to do is to search for these files in your temporary Internet files folder. The process is different in different browsers (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari), but not difficult in any of them.

Get a Flash Movie Using Safari

Launch your Safari browser.

Open the web page that has the Adobe Flash movie you want to download.

Click on "Window" on the top bar of your browser.

Select "Activity." You will see a list of files (photos, videos, games, text, etc.) These are your temporary Internet files.

Look for files with .swf extensions. These are the Adobe Flash files. Identify the Flash movie you are looking for by its file name.

Press "Alt" while clicking on the file to download the file to your hard drive. Once the download is complete, you can view the file any time by locating it on your hard drive and opening it.
Using Internet Explorer

Launch Internet Explorer. Click on "Tools," and then select "Internet Options."

Click on "Settings" under "Browsing history," and then click "View Files." A new window will pop up listing the contents of your "Temporary Internet Files" folder.

Click on the "Type" column and select "SWF file." You will see a list of Flash videos, games and clips from various websites.

Identify the website by looking at the Internet address (url), and then find the Adobe Flash movie you want by checking the file names.

Right-click the file containing the movie you want and select "Copy." Paste the movie in your desired folder on your hard drive by right-clicking in that folder and selecting "Paste."
Using Mozilla Firefox

Launch your Firefox browser and open the web page that has the Adobe Flash movie you want to download.

Click on "Tools" on the top bar of your browser. Select "Page Info."

Click on the "Media" tab. Here you will find all the texts, images, CSS files and .swf (Flash) files in your recent history.

Scroll down the list and look for .swf files. Locate the Flash movie you want by checking the file name.

Right-click on the file and save it to your hard drive by selecting "Copy," then right-clicking in a folder on your computer and selecting "Paste."
