How to Create Templates in FileMaker Pro
The FileMaker Pro application, which is compatible with both PC and Mac computers, includes many file templates that you can use to start designing your own databases. If you decide to start from scratch and build your own database structure, save your design as a template so that others in your home or office can use the same structure in the future. Saving a database as a clone or template stores only the file's field structure, not any actual data or records.
