1
Have a stylist trim your hair regularly to eliminate split ends. You should get your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks.

2
Use an ultra hydrating shampoo three to four times a week. Avoid shampooing your hair every day to keep your strands from drying out, which will cause it to frizz. Use warm water, not hot, when shampooing. Hot water will dry your hair, while warm will open up the cuticles in your hair, allowing the shampoo to penetrate inside of the strands. Use cool water to rinse your hair, as cool water will re-seal your cuticles.

3
Apply an ultra hydrating conditioner every time you shower. Work the conditioner all the way through your hair, beginning at your roots and down through your strands and tips. Allow the conditioner to set for a minimum of 3 minutes for maximum penetration into the cuticles of your hair.

Apply a nickle-sized amount of leave-in conditioner after showering everyday. Apply the conditioner to the palms of your hands. Rub your hands together and work the conditioner through your hair, beginning at your roots and extending down through your strands and tips. Leave the conditioner in and style as usual.

Use a conditioning hair mask once a week. Rub the hair mask through your hair so that it is evenly coated across your head. Begin at the tips of your hair and work your way up to the roots. Secure your hair with a hair clip and allow it to sit for 1 hour. Rinse the mask from your hair using warm water.
