Wipe up spills and moisture from the marble right away. Use a rag to carefully blot the spill so that it does not have a chance to stain the surface.

Place coasters on marble countertops and tabletops and floor mats at entryways to marble floors. This will protect the marble from moisture, dirt and debris that may cause damage. Marble vanities and bathroom sinks should be protected with a decorative tray to set toiletries on. This will prevent chemicals from leaking onto the marble.

Dust your white marble surface frequently. Use a dry dust mop for floors and a microfiber cloth for countertops and other marble surfaces. This will remove loose dirt, sand and debris that can scratch your marble.
