How to Open a Business Account at Sam's Club
Sam's Club is the wholesale version of Wal-Mart, owned by the same corporation. It offers supplies, equipment and materials to people and businesses, in large volumes and at discounted prices. Sam's Club operates on a membership basis; shoppers pay an annual fee based on the type of membership they choose. You can join Sam's Club with an individual membership even if you do not own a business, but business membership gives you advantages such as additional cards and extended shopping hours.

1
Visit the membership desk at your local Sam's Club and ask for an application for business membership. If you will not be paying with a business check, present a piece of paperwork that verifies your involvement in the business, such as a bill or a business card. You do not need to present a copy of a business license as long as you have another type of verification.

2
Fill out your application for a Sam's Club business account, and pay the membership fee in cash or with a check preprinted with the name and address of your business. As of February 2010 business membership costs $35 for a basic small business membership and $100 for a Business Plus membership, which includes a range of additional benefits including extra savings on selected items and discounts with a network of service providers.
