How to Make a Facebook Badge
A Facebook user can make a badge to promote his profile or business page on non-Facebook websites. A badge encourages a website visitor to click through to the Facebook site to view the information, increasing traffic to the page and spreading the word outside the Facebook family.

Go to the Facebook website and log in to your account.

Go to the Facebook Badges page.

Read the descriptions on the different types of badges that are available. Choose from: Profile Badge, Like Badge, Photo Badge and Page Badge. Click on the badge you prefer.

A preview of the badge appears along with choices for the type of website where you will be pasting the badge.

Click "Edit this badge" to make changes in the layout and content of the badge. Each of the badge types includes layout options -- Vertical, Horizontal and 2 Columns -- and other clickable options that vary depending on the type of badge you selected. As you make changes, the preview changes. Click "Save" when you are satisfied with the badge's appearance.

Click one of the several offered website types. If you plan to use the badge on Blogger or TypePad, click the buttons for those sites. For all other websites, click the "Other" button. The code for the badge appears. Copy the code.

Go to your website and paste the code into an area that supports HTML.

You can now add your Facebook badge to whatever sites you want by copying and pasting this URL into the appropriate sites.
