Mac Mail is Apple's email application that typically is installed on each Mac computer. The application lets you compose, send and read email. It also lets you set rules so that email is automatically moved into certain folders when received. This feature can also be used to block the email of certain senders. This is useful if you are receiving unwanted spam, junk mail or harassing messages.

Instructions

      Hit "Mail" in the menu, scroll down and click "Preferences..."

      Hit the "Rules" button on the top row of icons. Click the "Add Rule" button.

      Type a name for this rule in the "Description" field.

      Click the "any or all" drop down and pick "all." Type in the user email that you want to block in the next field. With the corresponding drop downs selected as "From" and "Contains."

      Select "Delete Message" under the "Perform the following actions" section. Click the "OK" button at the bottom.

      Restart Mac Mail
