How to Delete Utorrent

Peer-to-peer networks like uTorrent are one of the most popular methods of sharing and distributing files on the Internet. A torrent client like uTorrent takes chunks of a file from different users, downloads it, and then puts all the separate chunks back together into one complete file, allowing for faster download time. To permanently remove uTorrent from a Windows computer, you just follow the same process you would use for removing other programs.

Instructions

1. Click the Start menu at the bottom-left corner of your computer desktop.

2. Click "Control Panel." Once the Control Panel window is open, you will be given a list of categories that represent possible actions to perform via the Control Panel.

3. Choose "Add or Remove Programs" to bring up a list of all programs that are installed on your system on an XP system. If you are running Windows 7 or Vista, make sure the Contol Panel is displaying in Classic View, and choose "Programs" followed by "Programs and Features."

4. Browse through the list of programs until you find the uTorrent file and click it.

5. Click the "Remove" or "Uninstall" button beside the name of the program. Windows will remove the program. Follow all uninstall prompts to complete the removal.
