How to Get Rid of a Screen Saver on a Mac

Macs have a feature that allows you to add, change and remove screen savers quickly. The process to remove a screen saver takes about two minutes.

Instructions

1. Double-click on the hard drive icon on your desktop.

2. Find the "System" folder and select it. Within that folder, select the "Library" folder.

3. Click on the "Screen Savers" folder and find the screen saver that you want to delete.

4. Click on the screen saver and drag it to the trash. Click on the trash. Go up to "Finder", scroll down to "Empty Trash ..." and click.
