Plastic Spoon Puppets
Cut strips of yarn an long as you want your puppets hair to be. Hot glue the yarn hair the tip of the spoon.
Glue two craft eyes onto the convex side of the spoon. Use permanent markers to draw lips and a nose on your spoon puppet's face. You also can draw freckles, glasses or any other facial feature that you want your puppet to have.
Cut clothes out for your puppet from different colors of felt. Cut two 7 inch pieces of flesh-toned pipe cleaner for your puppet's limbs. Place the handle of the spoon in the center of one of the strips so that the strip is roughly where you want your puppets arms to be and twist the pipe cleaner around the spoon to hold it in place. Repeat this process with the other pipe cleaner to give your puppet legs. Hot glue your puppet's clothes onto the handle of the spoon and bend the pipe cleaners to position the arms and legs. Use small beads of hot glue on the back of the felt to hold the pipe cleaners in place.
Plastic Spoon Ghost
Cut a large circle of white felt that is twice as wide as your spoon is long, so if your spoon is 6 inches long then your circle needs to be 12 inches wide. Trace a large pot or bowl if you don't have a compass to draw your circle.
Place the tip of your spoon in the center of the felt circle. Gather the felt around the head of the spoon and tie a piece of ribbon around the gathered felt at the base of the head of the spoon. Tie the ribbon into a bow so that the bow is directly below the convex side of the spoon head.
Attach craft eyes to the underside of the spoon with hot glue. Use a permanent marker to give your ghost a mouth.
Spoon Full of Love
Cut a circle that is about 5 inches in diameter from a sheer, gauzy fabric of your choosing.
Place one Hershey's Kiss and one Hershey's Hug on the head of a plastic spoon. Place the head of the plastic spoon with the candies in the center of the circle of fabric.
Cut a heart from a piece of red card stock, the heart should be about 2 inches wide. Punch a hole in the right-hand lobe of the heart. Write "Spoon Full of Love" on the heart and thread it onto a 6 inch strip of ribbon.
