Google Maps' Satellite feature offers a fascinating photographic overhead view of addresses and street locations around the world. Depending on the location, you may be able to see a great deal of detail and get a very close-up view. However, unlike with many of Google Maps' other features, you can't print satellite images from within Google Maps. As a workaround, copy the image to your computer's clipboard, and then create a new image in a graphics program that allows printing.

Step 1

Zoom in on the Google Maps Satellite image you'd like to print.

Step 2

Press "F11" to maximize your screen.

Step 3

Press the "PrtScrn" button on your computer's keyboard.

Step 4

Launch your preferred graphics-editing software and open a blank image. Depending on your software, you may have to resize the blank image to the dimensions of your computer's screen resolution.

Step 5

Press "Ctrl-V" to paste the print-screen capture of the satellite image into the blank image.

Step 6

Crop the image so that it only displays the satellite image.

Step 7

Click "File" in the main menu, and then select the "Print" option to print the image.
