How to Get Tmail on an iPhone

The University of Tennessee is a large educational institution in the state of Tennessee. It has a email system much like many large corporations, set up on Microsoft Exchange servers. The email system is called Tmail and can be accessed with your iPhone. It takes five minutes to complete the process.

Things You'll Need

• Tmail account
• iPhone

Instructions

1. Go to your main screen on your iPhone. Tap the "Settings" icon.

2. Hit the "Mail, Contact, Calendars" selection.

3. Select "Add Account..." on the next screen. Pick "Microsoft Exchange" on the next screen.

4. Type your Tmail email address in the "Email" field. In the "Domain" field, put "utk" and in the "Username" field, type your NetID. In the "Password" field, type your Tmail password. In the "Description" field, type a two-word description of this account so you can find it.

5. Hit the "Accept" button on the next screen that says "Unable to Verify Certificate."

6. Type "tmail.utk.edu" in the "Server" field on the next page and hit "Next."

7. Move the sliders to "On" in each synchronization field on the next window that appears. This will allow the iPhone to be synced with your mail, contacts and calendars.

8. Hit the "Done" button.
