How to Use OxiClean on Colors
OxiClean is a powerful stain-fighting cleaner that comes in powder and liquid form. OxiClean uses oxygen bubbles to break up stains and penetrate fabric fibers rather than hard chemicals like bleach. Mix a small amount of OxiClean with a few drops of water to make a paste. Apply this to a hidden part of the colored fabric. Do not allow the OxiClean to dry. Rinse the spot after five minutes and check for color fastness.

Set the washing machine to the desired setting and pour in the appropriate amount of detergent. For an extra boost of cleaning power, add one scoop of OxiClean to the water before adding clothing. Run the washing machine as usual.

Mix 1 tbsp. of OxiClean into 1 cup of warm or hot water to make a stain-fighting solution. Pour the mixture into a squirt bottle or spray bottle.

Mix OxiClean powder and a few drops of water to make a stain-fighting paste. Apply this directly to the stain and allow it to penetrate for at least five minutes.

Mix at least one scoop and up to four scoops of OxiClean into a gallon of hot water until it's dissolved. Use this as a prewash, such as to soak heavily soiled clothes before washing.

Tips & Warnings
Because some fabrics are prone to fading, it is best to test the fabric first.
Do not use OxiClean on wool or silk.
Do not mix OxiClean into boiling water.
