Apple’s iTunes software is the preferred music organization program for many consumers. It synchronizes easily with the company’s iPod and iPhone and boasts a simple interface that offers a variety of ways to organize and view your music collection. iTunes also displays which songs you purchased through the iTunes Store.

Instructions

    • 1

Open iTunes and look at the column on the left side.

    • 2

Click the “Purchased” icon beneath the “Store” heading. The songs displayed in this list are the songs you bought on iTunes.

    • 3

Select “Music” beneath the “Library” heading in that same column.

    • 4

Select “View > View Options” and check the box marked “Kind.” Click “OK,” then click the “Kind” heading in the music library. Files marked as “Purchased AAC Audio” or “Protected AAC Audio” were bought via iTunes.
