Instructions

      Connect an iPod to your outdoor speakers with a Stereo miniplug-to-RCA cable.

      Plug your iPod in to the cable. Connect the other end to your stereo receiver. If you have an iPod docking station, you can also use the cable to connect the dock to the receiver.

      Press "Play" on your audio system and iPod to test the music on the outdoor speakers.

  • For multiple control options, consider purchasing a digital media docking station, such as the iPort. (Ref. 2) It provides an audio connection to your receiver and connects to your computer as well.

  • If you do not have an outdoor speaker system, try out a portable outdoor speaker system made for the iPod.
