How to Add Photoshop Elements Plug-Ins
Adobe Photoshop Elements is a minimal version of Adobe Photoshop, the popular graphics software that allows you to create, edit, print and re-format digital images and web graphics. Plug-ins extend the functionality of Elements, giving you the ability to quickly apply effects and filters created by third-party authors. Adding plug-ins to Photoshop Elements simply requires placing them in the proper Windows folder.

Locate the plug-in file you want to add to Photoshop Elements. Right-click its icon and select "Copy." Next, double-click the "My Computer" icon on your Desktop (simply "Computer" in Windows Vista or Windows 7). Double-click the C: drive icon on the following screen. Open the following folders: "Program Files" > "Adobe" > "Photoshop Elements" > "Plug-Ins."

Within that folder, double-click the folder that best applies to your plug-in (e.g. "Filters" for filter plug-ins). Right-click and select "Paste" to place the plug-in file in your selected folder. Photoshop Elements automatically loads any plug-ins placed anywhere in the Plug-Ins folder. The one you just added will be available the next time you open the program.
