Instructions

Large Wall
-
1
Select the four largest frames and them hang in the corners. Leave a 6 inch wall border around the two sides that meet the corner of the wall. Small frames will be visually lost if placed in the corner.
-
2
Hang the top row of frames 6 inches from the ceiling and leave 6 inches between each frame in the row. Aligning the top of each picture creates an eye-pleasing border.
-
-
3
Place the bottom row of frames 6 inches from the baseboard and leave 6 inches between each frame in the row.
-
4
Measure the height of the wall and divide the measurement by half. The center line is used for a square wall of frames with three rows. Divide the measurement by three if four rows are needed to display frames.
-
5
Tape a temporary line of string extending from the right and left side of the wall. Use this string as a guide for placing a row of frames. The line will cross through the center of each frame in that row.
-
6
Start and end the row with a frame that is smaller than the corner frames but larger than the frames inside the row. Space the frames six inches apart.
-
7
Add more rows by spacing the rows equally according to the height of the wall.
Small Groups
-
8
Lay the selected pictures on the floor to arrange. Positioning pictures on the floor allows for easy placement and rearranging.
-
9
Space all frames an equal distance from each other. Normal spacing between groups is four to six inches. Less spacing is also acceptable when the pictures or space is small. Spacing is left up to personal preference.
-
10
Arrange four square frames of equal size to form the easiest square wall. Measure an equal distance between all the frames and hang on the wall.
-
11
Rectangular frames may need two rows and three columns, or visa versa, to create a square wall. Arrange the frames with equal spacing and hang on the wall.
-
12
Place small pictures on each side of a large frame. The size of the large frame will determine the size and number of the smaller pictures.

Tips & Warnings
Spacing between the frames will depend on the number of pictures being displayed. Fewer pictures will require more spacing between the frames to fill the wall.
