How to Get Songs on Powerpoint

PowerPoint, developed by Microsoft, allows users to create customizable slide show presentations. The software comes with features to help create slides, such as animations and themes. Another feature is the ability to add songs to your slides.

Instructions

      Open the PowerPoint to which you want to add a song.

      Click the "Insert" tab then select "Songs" from the "Media Clips" section.

      Select "Sound from file." This opens a dialogue window where you can choose your song from file.

      Double-click the song you want to add.

      Select either "Automatically," which automatically starts the song, or "When clicked," to start playing the song after clicking on the icon.

      Click on the "Animation" tab and click on the "Custom Animation" button. This opens an animation pane on the right side of the program.

      Double-click on the song file in the animation pane. This opens a new dialogue window where you can edit the properties of the song.

      Select how many slides you would like the song to play for in the "Stop playing" section. Click "OK" to save the changes.
