How to Create an iPhoto Album

IPhoto is the photo management software on Apple computers and it can do almost everything you need in order to edit and manage your photographs. It offers various types of albums that allow you to publish your photos in the most effective way. You can create everything from a calendar to a gift card. Creating and using the right type of album can help you get the most out of your pictures.

Instructions

1. Open iPhoto, by clicking on the icon on your Dock. If you do not have the icon on your Dock, search for it with Searchlight, using the magnifying glass in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.

2. Click, "File," then select, "New Album..." from the drop-down menu.

3. Select the type of album you would like to create. Options include the traditional album, sideshow and calendar.

4. Enter a name for the album, then press, "Create."

5. Fill your album by selecting photos from the library and dragging them directly into the album.
