How to Clean an iPhone Internet Trail
The iPhone is an electronic cellular device that is able to perform a variety of functions in addition to the normal functions of a cell phone. The iPhone presents the user with the ability to surf the web from the device. For a variety of reasons, users may want to clear their Internet history so as to delete their Internet "trail." This can be accomplished rather easily by accessing the settings of the iPhone.

Turn to your iPhone's home or main screen. If you have another application open, you can access this screen by hitting the "home" key just below the screen of the phone. The key is marked by an empty square.

From the home screen of the iPhone, select "settings" and then "Safari." These can be selected by using the touch screen for the iPhone.

In the settings menu for Safari, select the option "clear history." When prompted, select "yes" to clear your Internet history. Your Internet history is now erased from your phone. Clear your history often to clean the Internet trail you leave.
