How to Remove an Online Game Trojan

An online game Trojan is a newer kind of computer virus that is activated when you play games on the Net. These types of Trojans usually record your keystrokes and send the recorded data to the creator of the Trojan. This can be particularly dangerous since passwords and credit card information can be stolen. The Trojan can also change your computer and Internet settings. So, it is essential to remove any online game Trojans immediately if your computer is infected.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Start." Select "Run." Type "taskmgr.exe" in the dialogue box. Hit "OK." Alternatively right-click the task bar and choose "Task Manager" (or press "Ctrl + Alt + Del" to open the task manager).

    • 2

Click "Processes" and search for any online game Trojan processes that are currently running. The Trojan processes are usually listed as one of the following:

      ravmon.exe
      ravmond.exe
      IPARMOR.exe
      adam.exe
