How to Have Separate Picasa Online Picture Accounts

Picasa is a digital photograph organizational utility developed by Google. One of the great things about having an account with Picasa is that you can also upload your photos to an online picture account, called a "web album." If you'd like to have two separate accounts with Picasa, you're going to need to sign up for two accounts with Google.

Instructions

    • 1

      Go to Google.com.

    • 2

      Click "Sign In."

    • 3

Click the blue text that reads "Create an Account Now."

    • 4

Input the information that the form asks you, including your name, desired screen name and password. Type the name of your current email address into the appropriately labeled box. When finished, click "I Accept. Create My New Account."

    • 5

Repeat Steps 2-4, only this time use a different email address to sign up for a second account. This will keep the two Google accounts separate from each other. If you don't have two email addresses, sign up for a free email account, using a service like Google's GMail or Microsoft's Hotmail.

    • 6

Go to Picasa's web albums main site (see References).

    • 7

Log in to your free Picasa web album account using one of the two Google accounts you've created. Type your user name and password into the specific boxes on screen and click "Sign In." If you want to get to the other account, click "Sign Out" and log back in using the second set of identification information.
