How to Peel Nectarines

Nectarines are small, round fruits that are closely related to peaches. In fact, one of the main differences between a peach and a nectarine is that peach skin has a furry appearance, while the skin of a nectarine is smooth. Although nectarine skin is edible, many people prefer to peel nectarines, especially when using the flesh in recipes. You can make peeling nectarines easier by briefly placing them in boiling water.
