How to Print a Banner in Photoshop on a Mac Leopard
Mac OS X Leopard users having trouble printing a banner spanning multiple pages with Photoshop often mistakenly assume that the fix lies somewhere in Photoshop's settings or even Leopard itself. The fact is, banner printing depends solely on your printer. There are several ways to print a banner on your Mac OS X printer, automatically or manually, as well as other options if you determine your printer is simply not capable or meeting your needs.

1
Open your banner in Adobe Photoshop.
-
2
Go to "File -> Print." In the options page that pops up, look for an option labeled "Tile Pages." If you see it, check it and print. If you do not, your printer does not support automated banner printing. However, read on to try a workaround effective on some systems.

3
In the same Print options screen, click "Print Size" and select "Custom Size."
-
4
Select the height of 8.5 inches (the default for paper) and a width as wide as you want your banner to be. For instance, for a 5-foot banner type in 60 inches.
-
5
Print it this way. Because your width is wider than your page width (11 inches), the banner will print on multiple pages. Whether it does so in a way that you can tape together, again, depends on your printer's configuration.

If you still do not have a workable banner, your printer sadly will not support banner printing. Take the Photoshop file in on a CD or USB drive to your local copy store. For a small fee, the store can make a banner for you. While this is a pain, you can console yourself that it will look more professional than anything that would have come out of a regular printer.
