How to Delete Partitions of a Flash Drive
Partitions are blocks of space on a storage device that are set aside for specific purposes. Partitions are what allow you to do things such as installing an operating system on a flash drive while still having space to store files and folders. To delete the partitions on a flash drive, you have to completely format it. This means that you erase all data on the flash drive and start over with no partitions on the drive.

Plug your flash drive into your computer.

Back up all data on your flash drive to your computer's hard drive. Formatting a flash drive and deleting partitions means that you will permanently lose any data you don't have a copy of.

Open Windows Explorer. To do this, simultaneously press the key with the "Windows" logo on it and the letter "E" key on your keyboard.

Click with your right mouse button on the Windows Explorer icon for the flash drive device.

Click "Format."

Click "Start." This will wipe the drive completely clean of data and format it using a single file system. Pay attention to the on-screen indicator so that you know when the process is finished.
