How to Type in Powerpoint
Microsoft Office suite incorporates the PowerPoint program that is the software for creating professional-quality presentations. PowerPoint presentation slides often have a complicated structure consisting of text information, inserted pictures as well as links or animation elements. To type a text within a PowerPoint slide, you need to use a special PowerPoint element called "Text Box."

Launch PowerPoint by clicking on its desktop icon or through the Start menu.

Press "Ctrl" + "O" on the keyboard to open the PowerPoint presentation file. Alternatively, press "Ctrl" + "N" to create a new presentation.

Scroll down your presentation to find a slide where you need to type a text.

Select the menu "Insert" in PowerPoint.

Click on "Text Box" in the program toolbar.

Draw a rectangle while holding the left mouse button in the slide location where the text should be typed. Note that you can adjust the position of the text box at any time later.

Type any text inside the box to add it to the slide.

Place the mouse cursor over the text box and, while pressing the left mouse button, move it to a desired position within the slide.
