      Open Adobe Acrobat.

      Select "Tools" from the top menu bar.

      Select "Advanced Editing" from the drop-down menu.

      Click "Link Tool." The cursor will become cross hairs.

      Hold down the mouse button and drag to highlight the area in the PDF where you would like to place the URL. A pop-up window will appear.

      Select the "Link Type" and "Highlight Style" that you want from the drop-down boxes.

      Click on the circle to the immediate left of "Open a web page" at the bottom of the pop-up window.

      Click on the button labeled "Next." A pop-up window entitled "Edit URL" will appear.

      Type the URL in the text box in the pop-up window.
