How to Open a Full Flash Drive

Flash drives are electronic devices that are used to transfer files and folders between different computers, or they can serve as small backup drives for your computer. • Flash drive

Instructions

1. Plug the flash drive into the USB port.

2. Click "Start."

3. Go to and click on "My computer."

4. Click on the object named something along the lines of "Removable disk" or "Flash drive."

5. Wait for the window to open to show your files. From here you can add or remove files.

• It is not recommended you back up your computer on a flash drive alone. Burn some CDs and/or back up your computer on an external hard drive.
