How to Change Wallpaper in Ubuntu

Your computer's wallpaper is the image that is visible on the desktop behind the icons. Ubuntu Linux comes with a bunch of preinstalled wallpapers or you can use your own images or images found on the Internet that you save to your hard drive. Changing your computer's wallpaper personalizes the computer and makes it less generic. You can change your wallpaper as often as you prefer using the Ubuntu "Appearance Preferences" interface. You can also change the color behind and surrounding the image.
