1
Stretch out a paper-clip or safety pin and insert the sharp end into a little hole located next to the CD tray or in some case on the side of the player. This is the emergency eject button. Push the pin until the tray pops open. Unfortunately, some CD players don't have this emergency eject button.

2
Turn off the CD player by pulling out the power cord from the power source. Wait for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Reconnect the power cord and try to eject the tray.

Find a blank CD or a CD you won't use and insert it about 1 inch deep into the slot. Press the "Eject" button repeatedly while carefully moving the CD around. This technique doesn't apply to players that use a tray to mount a CD.

Take your CD player to a repair shop and have its gears and belts checked. You may have to replace them. If the CD player is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer. Remember, if you open the CD player by yourself you will void the manufacturer's warranty.
