How to Access AOL Webmail With Parental Controls

Maintaining a safe online experience for your children is of the utmost importance. Protecting your children from unwanted email content and contact can be difficult. However, you can be proactive in this regard by accessing your children's AOL webmail using AOL Parental Controls. Make use of the AOL Activity Report function of your AOL Parental Controls to have customizable daily or weekly access to your children's email.

Instructions

1. Open your AOL account's master screen name.

2. Visit the "AOL Parental Controls" page, listed in the Resources section below. Create a new "Kid Only (12 & Under)" account for your child if you have not done so already. Go back to the "AOL Parental Controls" main page when you are done.

3. Select your child's screen name.

4. Click the "Activity Reports" link in the Edit section.

5. Select "On" under the option marked "Monitor your child's activity."

6. Click the "E-mail me reports on these days" drop down menu. Select your desired email report frequency. You will receive your child's incoming and outgoing email as per the frequency you choose.
