How to Get Rid of Tabs in Explorer 7

Tabbed browsing in Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) enables you to organize your web pages easily without having to open multiple web browser windows. To organize your web pages more effectively, you can close tabs that you are no longer using easily. If you are uninterested in tabbed browsing, you can also disable the feature on your IE 7 browser just as easily.

      Right-click the tab that you want to close and click "Close tab." Alternatively, close a tab by clicking it and clicking the "X" symbol on the tab.

      Click the "Tools" button if you want to disable tabbed browsing. Scroll down the pop-up menu and click "Internet Options" to launch your browser's properties.

      Click the "Settings" button under "Tabs." Uncheck the "Enabled Tabbed Browsing (requires starting Internet Explorer)" check-box and click "OK" to save the changes. Restart IE 7.
