How to Uninstall Weatherbug
WeatherBug is computer software that provides the latest weather alerts, information and forecasts for your local area. Those with smartphones such as the Blackberry Storm or Apple's iPhone may opt to download the mobile version of the application instead of utilizing the desktop version. You may consider uninstalling WeatherBug if you're low on hard drive space and need to make room for other applications or perhaps you aren't interested in WeatherBug's services anymore. There are just a few steps required in order to remove the software from your machine.

Uninstalling for Windows

Exit the WeatherBug application by right clicking the temperature icon and selecting "Exit WeatherBug."

Click the "Start" button located on your computer's desktop.

Select "Settings" then Control Panel. You will see a dialog window pop open.

Double click the icon that says "Add/Remove Programs." You will see a new dialog window with a running list of applications that are available to be uninstalled.

Click the WeatherBug application in the list then click the "Add/Remove" button. Follow the prompts provided to completely remove the application.

Restart Windows to ensure removal completion.

Click "Start," then "Programs" to verify software removal. You shouldn't see WeatherBug listed as one of the programs. Also, the WeatherBug icon should no longer appear in the tray on the opposite side of the "Start" button.
Uninstalling for Mac

Click on the "Finder" icon located in the tray.

Do a search for "Weatherbug."

Drag the WeatherBug application icon into the trash using your mouse. Empty your trash by going to the "Finder" tab at the top of your screen and selecting "Empty Trash."

Remove your WeatherBug preferences by going into the "Finder" then selecting "Home," then "Library" then "Preferences." Files you'll need to delete should begin with "com.aws.WeatherBugLite."

Restart your Mac. Verify removal by going to "Finder" and doing a search for "Weatherbug." Your search should come back with no results.

Tips & Warnings
Sometimes the simple uninstall doesn't remove everything pertaining to the program so you may still see remnants of the Weatherbug application on your computer. In Windows you may need to manually remove directories or registry items related to AWS or Weatherbug.
